From vineyards to waterways
It begins at Villa Frantini in the Chianti. The agricultural rhythm of the estate the harvest seasons, the cycle of the vine sets an unhurried tone for the journey. There is time for cookery courses, cellar visits, and long afternoons that need no justification.
The journey moves north to Lake Como and Villa Jolanda, where the landscape turns vertical: mountains above, water below, the Liberty villa positioned in contemplative elevation between the two. The shift from the Tuscan countryside to the alpine lake is among the most effective transitions in Italy.
It closes in Venice. Casetta Rossa ends the journey with a city that moves on water: gondolas, vaporetti, the slow traffic of the Grand Canal. A final lesson in moving at one’s own pace.
