How it works
Before you arrive, we think it is worth saying clearly what a Garamonds stay is and what it is not.
How it works
Garamonds is built for those who choose a private villa: a home to live in freely, with a discreet presence that knows the house deeply and is available when needed, creating an experience that feels personal, effortless, and entirely your own.
Our guests choose a private villa precisely because they do not want a hotel. We were built around that choice.
They do not want a lobby, a concierge desk, or a team of people whose purpose is to be visible. They want a house. They want to exist in it freely, without an audience, without a schedule that belongs to someone else.
That is what Garamonds was built around. Not service as abundance — service as presence. Someone who knows the house deeply, available when needed, invisible when not.
If you are looking for the rhythm of a five-star hotel, Garamonds will disappoint you. We say this not as a limitation, but as a promise.
01
One person.
Always the right one.
Each of our villas has one dedicated person who knows it deeply, its rhythms, its light at different hours, everything that makes it what it is. They are present when you need them and entirely absent when you do not.
The villa is yours, and the person looking after it understands that the greatest gift they can give you is the feeling of being completely alone in a beautiful place.
02
The days belong
entirely to you.
Breakfast when you want it. The kitchen is yours if you feel like using it. Three days doing very little, with no one asking whether you need anything. Or one extraordinary evening with a private chef and a table set for ten, because you chose it.
Nothing is imposed. Nothing is expected. The structure of your time is the last thing we would presume to decide.
03
Present without
being intrusive.
Discretion is not distance. It is the ability to read a moment: when a guest wants something, and when they want to be left entirely to themselves. Our people are trained around that distinction, and it is the quality we value most in them.
04
Everything is ready
before you arrive.
The conversation we have with you before your stay is the most important part of our work. We want to know what matters to you, what you want to find, and what you want to leave behind. Everything we do after that conversation is in service of what you told us.
By the time you arrive, the house already knows you are coming.
When you want more
Everything else is a choice you make.
Some guests spend the whole week inside the villa and the garden and want nothing more. Others want a chef on Thursday evening and a boat on Saturday morning. Both are right. The experiences below are just a selection of what is available on request, arranged with the same care we give to the house, and only when you ask for them.

Every stay begins with a conversation
Before we talk about the house, we talk about you. What you want to find when you arrive. What you would rather leave behind. That conversation is where our work begins and it is the most important thing we do.
A Garamonds villa is the right answer for the client who has stayed in the great hotels and is ready for something genuinely different. The guest who wants to cook their own lunch, to walk through the house at three in the morning without encountering anyone, to feel, for a week, as though the place belongs entirely to them.
If your client’s first question is about the staff-to-guest ratio, they may not yet be ready for what we offer. If their first question is about the quality of the silence, they are exactly who we had in mind.
